Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Put 2 to 3 inches of litter into a clean litter box. Scoop out the litter waste as needed. Replace the scooped – out waste to maintain a depth of 2 to 3 inches.
Fill 1/2 depth with Catalyst litter, Cap with 1/2 depth of your previous litter. As your cat is more comfortable, transition to 3/4 to 1/4 Catalyst to previous Litter. Finally, Transition to 100% Catalyst Litter.
