For best results, do not mix with non-clumping cat litter. For first-time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill it with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Scoopable Cat Litter.
Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. The rest of the litter stays fresh.
Add more Fresh Step Scoopable Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

Additional Instructions

Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.

Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Transition Instructions

If you’ve recently switched to Fresh Step® Crystals, your cat may need a little time to adjust. This is the case with any litter. You can make the transition easier for your cat by mixing one part Fresh Step® Crystals to one part old litter for a few days to a week. After one week, empty the box completely and refill with only Fresh Step® Crystals.
