Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. - Fill a clean litter box with 3 inches of litter. For multiple cats or big-boned cats, use more.
- Scoop twice daily.
- Refill to maintain a 3 inch level of litter goodness.
Flushing sWheat Cat Litter
- Too much of a good thing is not always a good thing, so scoop litter clumps into the toilet, but not so much that it overflows.
- Let clumps sit for 20 minutes (this allows them to break up and become easier to move through your septic system).
- Flush!
Additional Instructions
- Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
- Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
- Fill your empty litter box with 3 inches of sWheat Scoop, and pour 1 inch of your current brand on top.
- Repeat this process when you change the litter, but only add a half-inch of the other brand.
